   Could I point out that the Photo on your website labelled “Peckett – ‘Lance’ from Warrington” is definitely NOT, but the next photo’ depicted “Peckett – Photo by Ian Smith, Sheffield” IS INDEED “Lance”! I saw this engine every day going to school on the bus! The dumb buffers give it away, apart from that I HAVE photo’s of this engine O.O.U. and it’s stable mate.

     Hi Bob, you are quite correct. The Peckett described as ‘Lance’ is, in fact, Peckett No. 1823/1931 and privately owned.
